The Southwest Valley Chamber of Commerce are looking to bring on interns in the following areas;

  • Marketing/Advertising Intern 
  • Office Intern
  • Digital/Social Media Intern 

Each intern will be assigned tasks specific to their field of study. Optional tasks will be available to help the student expand their knowledge base to opportunities available through the chamber of commerce.

The company has asked that the intern work for approximately 10 hrs. per week and will be flexible with your EMCC schedule. This opportunity is only available to Estrella Mountain Community College students. Applicants are REQUIRED to submit and online application, a resume, and a cover letter. Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Marketing/Advertising: assist with creation promotional materials and implementation of promotional campaigns
  • Office: assist with day-to-day operations, customer service, and other tasks typical of a nonprofit corporation
  • Digital/Social Media: assist with photography, videography, and social media activities
Minimum Requirements: 
  • Currently enrolled at EMCC 
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher
  • Must be 16 years or older 
  • Be able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week 
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Good written communication skills
  • Able to communicate effectively with a variety of personality types
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds
