Tempo Urban Bistro is hiring culinary interns to be a part of a full service restaurant. This is a PAID opportunity! This opportunity to all current EMCC students interested in the culinary industry. Interns will be working directly with Steven Maynard who has been nomiated for "Best Chef" Reader's Choice in the Phoenix New Times!
The company has asked that the intern work for approximately 20 hrs. per week and will be flexible with your EMCC schedule. Applicants must be continuing EMCC students and have a minimum of 2.5 G.P.A. Culinary interns will gain experience in the following areas:
- Food preparation
- Pantry and hot line cooking
- Kitchen Sanitation
- Must be a current EMCC student
- Must have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA
- Be willing to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Have basic knowledge of culinary and safety standards
