Job Summary: 

Estrella Mountain Community College at the West-MEC Southwest Campus is hiring Student Services Support staff to work under a learning college philosophy (https://www.estrellamountain.edu/learning-college). This position will provide customer service assistance in a professional environment to support the student services needs for current and prospective students.

**This position will be held at the Estrella Mountain Community College offices located at the West-MEC Southwest campus in Buckeye.**

Essential Functions: 

40% - Provides front line and phone customer service to students in person and/or over the phone with admissions, registration and general advisement questions

30% - Responds to incoming/outgoing telephone calls

25% - Follows detailed processes, procedures, and policies

5% - Performs other assigned duties that are commensurate to the grade level of the position and specific to the needs of the EMCC offices at the West-MEC Southwest Campus

Minimum Qualifications: 
  1. High school diploma or GED
  2. Experience with providing customer service in person and over the phone
  3. Experience working in multifunctional environments
  4. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  5. Experience working with a diverse student population
Desired Qualifications: 
  1. Demonstrated ability to communicate policies and procedures
  2. Demonstrated ability to multi-task
  3. Experience working in an office setting
  4. Experience working in higher education
  5. Experience processing registration
