The Paper Collage store is a unique papercraft store located in Peoria, Arizona. This store features a unique selection of 12×12 scrapbook papers, card making supplies, paper crafts, Lawn Fawn stamps and dies, Graphic 45 paper, Asian stationery, Brush Lettering pens, Copic Markers, German Dresden. Classes available. 

This internship opportunity will allow selected interns to gain practical knowledge of being a business owner or entrepreneur. Learn how to provide excellent service to clients/customers, develop professional skills such as; communication, effective marketing, sales, everyday tasks of running a business, visual merchandising, etc. This internship will begin as an unpaid internship for the first 30 days. Then it will turn into a paid internship at $11.00 per hour. The company is also looking to potentially hire for permanent positions.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

-Greet and assist customers in a small retail craft boutique
-Assisting with the creation of marketing packages & presentations
-Present merchandise in a manner that will maximize sales
-Motivate and inspire retail clients
-Learn how to interact with customers to keep them coming back
-Handling unhappy customers, etc

Minimum Requirements: 
  • Must be a current EMCC student 
  • Must have and maintain a 2.5 GPA min
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Customer Service background or outgoing, enthusiastic personality.
  • Ability to work 12-18 hours per week during day/late afternoon.
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Must be able to committ a minimum of 3 months to this internship
  • Must have reliable transportation
