Job Summary: 

Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC) is hiring a part-time Project Analyst to work under a Learning College philosophy (www.estrellamountain.edu/learning-college) where learning happens anytime, anyway, any place. The Project Analyst provides provides planning and coordination of assigned programs or projects; assists with the development and implementation of program/project goals and objectives; and performs research and analysis in support of assignment.

Essential Functions: 

30% - Assists in preparing, disseminating and communicating project related information through a variety of communication channels including complex reports, presentations, correspondence, project documentation, and activities

20% - Researches standards, trends, solutions, and best practices for a variety of projects and programs

20% - Assists with coordinating, developing and conducting training workshops and presentations on a variety of topics 

20% - Maintains program records, documents, web content and/or related program communication materials

10% - Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, business or public administration, or a directly related field and one (1) year of related program management experience preferably in an educational setting.

OR

Associate’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, business or public administration, or a directly related field and three (3) years of related program management experience preferably in an educational setting.

OR 

An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.

Desired Qualifications: 

Experience assisting with complex projects or programs

Experience in co-curricular or extra-curricular assessment in higher education 

Experience developing trainings and presentations for diverse audiences

Experience working in a fast-paced team environment to achieve goals by given deadlines

Special Working Conditions: 

Ability to sit for long periods of time working at the computer

May require some evenings or weekend

May have to lift 25 lbs.
