Arizona Reliable Insurance Agency is a small but quickly growing independent insurance agency. Our agency is looking to coach and train a hardworking and honest individual who wants the opportunity to learn new skills and the chance to put these skills into practice within the agency. This position would allow for said individual to work hands-on in the office. The job focus is the assist the agency owner with day to day tasks and projects necessary for the agency to function. This is an ideal opportunity for a student who wants to work in a business environment and has an interest in long term job opportunities.

This is a paid internship that will require about 10-20 hours a week of work. We will be flexible with work hours and can accommodate around EMCC schedule.  

Duties and Responsibilities: 

This role is one that will start with basic office duties and can change depending on the student’s ability to learn and take on new tasks.

Duties to start with the following.

-assist in the betterment of the agency

-online marketing planning

-simple policy reviews or changes

-insurance billing

-calling clients for non-pays

-checking mail

-filing

-client courtesy calls

-identify and refer new business opportunities 

Minimum Requirements: 

-general computer knowledge

-reliable transport -

eager to learn and not easily discouraged

-pass a background check

-clear communication skills. Bilingual- Spanish is a plus! 

-Current EMCC student with 1 semester completed and min 2.5 GPA
