Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC) is hiring a part-time Human Resources (HR) Office Support staff to work under a Learning College philosophy (http://www.estrellamountain.edu/learning-college) where learning happens any time, any place, anywhere. This position performs responsible clerical and administrative tasks independently in a highly confidential team-oriented environment with a focus on web support.
40% - Provides general clerical and administrative support in the initiation and completion of various HR processes such onboarding of new hires (which includes creating job offers, background checks, I-9, etc), termination and rehires. Creates routine correspondence, general employee verification, surveys and reports. Assists with special projects and creates reports using Microsoft office or similar programs
40% - Provides customer service to a diverse population, recruitment updates to hiring managers, assistance to determine solutions regarding payroll, applicant status and various inquiries.
20% - Assist with creating, maintaining and archiving employee files and updating EMCC HR website.
1. High school diploma or GED
2. Experience providing direct front-line customer service
3. Experience using a variety of computer software and/or internet browsers
4. Experience using Microsoft Office or other similar programs
