Tolleson Dairy , will offer an intern the opportunity to work in their lab .  An intern will spend time testing dairy products and utilizing in class skills in this real world scenario.  This is a PAID internship at approximately $11.00 per hour working two 8-hour shifts per week (total of 16 hours).  The company is very flexible with the student's schedule and the number of hours they work. This opportunity is only available to Estrella Mountain Community College students. Applicants are REQUIRED to submit and online application, a resume, and a cover letter. Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Conduct research.
  • Perform microbiological and chemical tests on milk and milk products.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Report to the Internship Manager as requested.
  • Student must have already taken BIO 181
  • Student must have taken or be enrolled in BIO 205
  • STEM instructor recomendation

  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Maintain professional image and attitude, acting consistently as a representative of the organization.
  • Demonstrate regular, predictable, and timely attendance.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
