Knight Academy is looking for before and after care assistant instructors to help with their programs at local charter schools. Students range from K-6th grade. As a assistant teacher you will be responsible for organizing after school activities for the children, providing close supervision, and provide homework help when necessary. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and have some experience working with children. A CPR and First Aid Certification is required and can be completed online.

The company has asked that the intern work for approximately 12 hrs. per week and will be flexible with your EMCC schedule. This opportunity is only available to Estrella Mountain Community College students. Applicants are REQUIRED to submit and online application, a resume, and a cover letter. Duties and Responsibilities:

Minimum Requirements: 
  • Experience working with children.
  • A CPR and First Aid Certification is required and can be completed online.
  • Able to lift 25 pounds.
