Job Summary: 

Estrella Mountain Community College is hiring a part-time Testing Technician to work under the Learning College Philosophy where learning happens anyway, anytime, anyplace.  This position provides in-person make-up testing for students who miss an exam.

Essential Functions: 
  • 70% Administers make-up and online exams to Estrella Mountain students; advises students of testing schedule and procedures
  • 10% Maintains confidentiality and security of materials and information, utilizes computer system and equipment
  • 10% Provides general clerical assistance including typing, filing, answering phones and processing incoming and outgoing communication; other duties as assigned commesurate to grade level of position
  • ​10% Assists students using software/hardware to complete coursework.
Minimum Qualifications: 
  1. Experience administering a variety of online and make-up exams
  2. Experience organizing and maintaining make-up testing files
  3. Experience using an online scheduling system like TutorTrac.
  4. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Student Information System and email
  5. Applicant cannot be a student at any MCCCD (Maricopa Community College District) campus.
Desired Qualifications: 
  1. One (1) year of experience administering exams at an institution of higher learning
  2. Experience working in an environment with frequent interruptions
  3. Experience working in an educational environment
  4. Completion with an "A" grade in Microsoft Office course (e.g. CIS105)
  5. Ability to work independently and accurately
