The Utilities Operations Division manages water and wastewater services for areas of the City south of Interstate 10 (exception to Sedella and Canada Village) and sanitation services (trash, recycle and bulk) for the Goodyear residential service area.

This is a UNPAID internship but may qualify for WIRRCS scholarship.  The company has asked that the intern work for approximately 8 to 10 hrs. per week and will be flexible with your EMCC schedule. Applicants must be continuing EMCC students and have a minimum of 2.5 G.P.A or a recommendation from your SWSC instructor. Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Maintain a 2.5 GPA 
  • Be able to work approx. 8-10 hours a week. 
  • Assist with creation of periodic maintenance schedule for equipment

  • Data collection and entry for asset management program

  • Create workflows
